See Palm Springs Thru "Uber" Eyes...

I just started as an Uber & Lyft driver a month or so ago as a second job to save a little extra for retirement. After rideshare driving over all of southern California I’ve adapted the greater Palm Springs area as my “Uber turf” because the Palm Springs riders are by far the nicest people to drive around in my car.

I started this Palm Springs Guide newsletter as an effort to educate myself & my riders everything there is to know about Palm Springs and to offer the newsletter as a way to have others publish their own articles about Palm Springs.

Since I personally meet and talk to about two dozen new people a day, building a new Palm Springs Guide newsletter from the point of view rideshare riders and their driver seemed like an interesting premise so I figured, “Why not”?'

It’s a great way to meet people and an it seems like a fun way to network as everyone who subscribes to Palm Springs Guide has something in common - they all know me from being in my blue Subaru Forester or they’ve been referred to the newsletter by someone who’s been in the blue Suby!

The other reason for the newsletter is to showcase for CEOs how any business and every business these days is a technology business. To demonstrate, I’ll be integrating all forms of new technology into this Palm Springs Guide newsletter that is a new business from scratch starting today January 13th 2025.

Why showcase new & emerging technology? My primary job is consulting to CEOs about technology. When they ask, “What are you talking about Dan?” I can show them the many different ways I use current 2025 technology to grow Palm Springs Guide as a business and how they can use the same technologies to grow their business.

I truly love rideshare driving and meeting new Palm Springs residents & visitors every day but as you can imaging, rideshare driving as a primary occupation does not afford one the ability to pay a pile of regular family bills to I also use rideshare driving and the Palm Springs Guide newsletter as a networking tool to meet new prospective CEO clients and to also teach anyone who wants to learn how they can indeed generate enough revenue consulting “CEO TEch” to indeed afford a family and live happily ever after.
